Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This particular egg was found in the heart of an extinct volcano, so the name means dragon of flame. After being hatched Inferious constantly did more to make himself stronger. He challenged other hatchlings and even adult dragons constantly; simply fighting to be the strongest, as if the spirit of that once powerful volcano burned within him. After each victory or accomplishment he never once mistreated the ones he beat. He always congratulated and thanked them for a job well done, and then would walk away with dignity thinking he could still be better. Upon his maturing to adulthood he was granted the rank of brigadier sky general, but as if this still was not enough he returned to training. He would fly through erupting volcanoes and breathe fire until he began to singe himself. The goal of Inferious is to become the best, and if some dragon out there can best him then he desires to follow that dragon until his skills are perfected.
