Kyanite Pygmies are a feisty breed, always full of energy. Playfully ebullient, these tiny and elusive dragons like to chase after one another, darting in and out of small alcoves and other such hiding places. They often dig small burrows underneath large trees and nibble on the roots for sustenance. They rely on the towering oaks’ formidable trunks and vast immensity to hide them from predators, something their small size aids in. Kyanites also secrete a weak toxin when threatened, which further protects them from intruders. However, this poison is not strong enough to affect larger creatures, humans included.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.
User Description
May You Grow To Love is the dragon in the background. She is not often in the action and excitement of everyday activities and prefers it that way. She is quite smart and very good at planning. When others are hurt, she is relied on as their healer.
She tries to stay out from under other dragons' feet and will stay just in the corner of their eye, waiting for when they need her. She gets along with We Will See More of You Again and is even on speaking terms with Please Live Many Lives (as in, she speaks and he ignores her). Out of all other dragons she is the only one who will talk to the grumpy Dark Lumina. Some dragons speculate that this is because she was the one who helped him through his hatchlinghood, when he was fearful that he would not make it through the week because of a small illness he had. They wonder why he doesn't understand her loyalty to him.
