Perhaps among the most venerated of dragon breeds is the Zyumorph, a breed whose selfless heroism and strong moral compass are nearly unparalleled by other dragons. Zyumorphs have an innate urge to fend off wrongdoing, and as such, are often sought after in times of peril. Although they are independently quite capable fighters, it is said that their true might is not unlocked until all six Zyumorphs are brought together in times of great duress.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Padre hatched in the same nest as Congo, but kept silent about his feelings of loneliness. Padre intended to cultivate independence and self-sufficiency within himself. He succeeded.
When Tamu and Congo left the Thicket, Padre stayed behind to hone his skills. He worked diligently to keep the other hatchlings safe, and ended up training with Mulaag for the better part of a year. To him, making sure that he and his kin were protected was his reward for all of his work.
One day, however, the day came that the urge to fly north grew too strong, and Padre left his lifelong home.
What he ran into was not what he expected.
He was expecting to run into the two dragons that had left the Thicket when he was young, but not the two older dragons who also resided in their deep cave. Most of all, he didn't expect to find them in a deep slumber. When he finally managed to wake the eldest dragon up, and asked why he slept, the drake replied that he was "simply waiting for the final missing piece."
