White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Icefire is strongly bonded to Dragonheart, and was the first of Dragonheart's eggs to survive. The top of her staff is carved into the shape of a rose, and there's a ring around her pupil that changes color according to her mood. Her long, flexible tail is almost prehensile, providing a fifth limb to help her in her work. She takes great pride in her magic and will never harm another, even if she is in danger of being harmed herself. To her, there is nothing worse than killing another living being. Even the plants she respects as living creatures, only taking ripe fruit and the leaves and branches that must be pruned to make the plant strong anyway. In winter, she feeds out of the greenhouse she tends in her spare time.
