Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, the sky has been full of very dark clouds.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Little Grayscale never really knew her point in the family. She always looked up at the sky, creating little clouds that quickly disappear. Like many other frozen hatchlings of her family, she has no parents and is quite sad about it. Even though she is frozen and cannot grow wings, she taught herself how to swiftly run across the ground. At times, other dragons confuse her for a snake! Not only can she run, she also learned how to glide by finding two large leaves and sticking them to her arms.
