Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

There is nothing that Annie loves more than beautiful, high-quality jewels. She spends much of her time in her cave, sifting through loose stones and carefully breaking apart large boulders in the hopes of finding more gems to add to her collection. She never gives them away and anybody, human or dragon, trying to get near them will find themselves crushed under an avalanche of rocks. One can win her affection by giving her a gift of pearls, the one gem that cannot be found by digging in a cave. Annie has sworn that the only child she ever wants is one with fine crystal wings.
