Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

One stormy night, poke3 was wandering through the darkness trying to find a cave to settle when she suddenly saw a cloud hovering near by with an egg.  She wonders if she should take for all her last eggs have died, but she does anyway.  One day, the egg suddenly fell off its cloud!!!!  Thinking that it died, poke3 starting mourning but then she falls asleep.  In her dreams, she sees a dragon hatch from its egg and suddenly grow into an adult.  She then wakes up to see her first dragon hatch in years time.  She then names her fallendreams, after she matures and in honor of the dream she had.  fallendreams always cares for her young and the other eggs and babies, making sure they have a nice dream.
