Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shirako is the youngest dragon in Tier 1, the 4th dragon overall, and the 2nd female. She likes spending her time laying in the shade and not being disturbed. She acts like a lady, speaking politely and using exquisite manners. She also likes hanging out with Rolsu. When Tier 1 were just eggs, Nyen, Mynk, and herself got a terrible sickness. But while the others recovered quickly, she got hit with the sickness full force and was the last to recover. Due to that, she is immune to any disease and takes care of the others when they are sick because she can't get sick. She doesn't mind it because she still gets to relax in peace and quite. She may act like a lady, but she can be very feisty too. The others prefer to stay on her good side by, letting her be when she wants to relax. She likes to help Rolsu take care to the Tier 2 eggs and spends her time with those eggs like Rolsu did with Tier 1.
