Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Litharin is known for carrying out the duty of assisting hatchlings who have trouble breaking through their shell. He tries to help out, though on occasions he ends up breaking an egg with his talons. Not many mothers trust their offspring around him because of this. Despite this he continues to help guard and hunt for them, in hopes of them forgiving his accidents. Recently he came across an abandoned vampire hatchling while patrolling, and brought it home for one of the other vampires to nest. They rejected the hatchling due to the fact it wasn't turned by one of them. Out of fear of accidentally killing the hatchling by nesting it himself, Litharin courted a Falconiform Wyvern called Ayrina so she would raise it alongside their own egg. He visits them daily, though never allows himself to approach the nest itself.
