Horse Dragons have equine-shaped bodies and hooves instead of claws, which allow them to be fast runners. They specialize in running takeoffs, which are quicker than taking off from a stand-still. Horse dragons are able to stalk their prey from the ground then quickly execute an aerial attack for the kill.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zypher is the oldest of the Tier 1 dragons, the 2nd dragon total, and the 1st male dragon. He tends to keep to himself and only asks Rolsu for advice. He is of major importance to the clan. The other dragons find him scary and stay away from him. The only ones who don't find him scary is Rolsu and Nyen. The latter of which, likes to annoy him and finds it funny when he gets mad. When Tier 1 was still eggs, Zypher was the only one to not get the terrible sickness that the others did. Despite keeping to himself, he only does it to protect the others. He likes to stay at the boundary to ward off any wild dragons that may hurt the clan.
