Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

If one stops at the entrance to the crater and listens, they will hear the deep, soft sound of the mountain breathing, for volcanoes never die; they only sleep, some more deeply than others. This volcano is sleeping very shallowly, and if it were to wake, the eruption could destroy Rainbow Cavern. For this reason the Magma dragons work tirelessly at keeping the area of the volcano peaceful and quiet to promote the volcano's deeper sleep. The more deeply it sleeps, the safer the surrounding area.

Lava Light seeks out White and Magi dragons, as well as fairies and other healers and magic users to find herbs and potions to help to keep the volcano sleeping. These remedies generally disappear in puffs of smoke and steam, making it difficult to know whether they are efficacious at all.
