Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

There is probably only one word that Ysera can think of to describe Lahash: noisy. She produces a sound much like a screech when she is happy or excited, which happens to be ninety percent of the time. When frightened or angry, low, grumbling noises can be heard from her. In the morning, Ysera is often awakened by the sound of Lahash's screeches, which makes her wonder why the thick stone walls of her home seem to have no effect whatsoever in deafening the volume of the pebble dragon's shrill screams.  Still and all, Ysera likes Lahash just the way she is. She has learned that this unique trait sometimes has its uses since Lahash's shriek alone could send an enemy running in fright.
