Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Glowing Scarlet Flames is a Hellfire Wyvern. He likes to be called Scarletflames, or just Scarlet. But he usually doesn't like to be talked to. He was raised somewhere else away from the Scrollkeeper. There, he was bullied and pushed around by the aggressive female Hellfire Wyverns. The Scrollkeeper found him as a young hatchling, being surrounded by a circle of females who were laughing at him and spitting insults. The Scrollkeeper raised him and eventually he stopped being that passive-aggressive, but he still wasn't the nicest. He is a bit nicer than wild Hellfire Wyverns, luckily. Sometimes he breathes fire at the youngsters for disturbing his conversations with the females. He wants to get a mate, but he seems to be too mean and passive-aggressive for one. Fastwing might like him a bit, though. But the hatchlings always wreck every chance he has to talk to her.

He usually sulks somewhere and likes to be alone.
