Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Denker, a mint dragon, once hiked up a mountain to gather herbs for elderly Miss Froy. He muttered profanities all through his aching journey, the sharply sloped paths making his going difficult and miserable. When he finally came across the herbs he was surprised to see a whiptail egg sitting innocently in a patch. Not wanting to leave the egg behind, Denker decided to take it with him. Exhausted from the hike, he rested his weight on the egg and jolted it. Startled by the sudden movement of the egg, Denker clung to the nearest thing- the egg. They bounced down the mountain, colliding with trees and almost braining a startled pygmy. When the battered duo finally rolled to a stop at the bottom, Denker turned to the egg and said "That hurt, but it was certainly better than the STEEP CLIMB!" The unborn dragon in the egg woke just as Denker was finishing his sentence and from that day on she would only respond to what she had heard first.
