Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dark storm clouds gathered as Son of Sparks flew above them. His icy laughter filled the air as he gathered electricity. Just as the rain started to come down he shot a blot of pure lightening from his claws. Soon after he heard the sound of humans screaming down below and a crack of thunder. Son of Sparks flew faster and faster inflicting panic below in the human world. It was the least he could do to make them suffer. All he remembered from his child hood was being ripped away from his mothers side by humans and then had needles stuck into him from testing. Well, Son of Sparks was grown now and could fend for himself. His bitterness towards the humans shone as he set his lightening down on their homes burning them and terrorizing them just like they had done to him.
