Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Phaust is K's first dragon and has since his time of hatching been by K's side. He is the most mischievious of K's dragons and often attracts trouble with his over confident antics. Though he loves K the most, he has a mate, Ka'Hara, and a best friend, Vaahn, who he enjoys playing games with. His three favorite things to do are: being with K, hide-n-seek with Vaahn and Ka'Hara, and eating watermelons.
