Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Maeyella is a kind, gentle Red Dragon. She spends most of her time watching over her tamer's eggs and occasionally covering them with a short burst of fire in order to help them hatch. Of course, not all of her tamer's eggs can be hatched that way, so Maeyella is careful as to which eggs she will warm with her fire breath. She treats all the other dragons as though they were her family. She makes a very loving surrogate mother and will gladly take any hatchlings under her wing and raise them when her tamer is busy with other tasks. Maeyella is something of a saint in the sense that she has helped many a hatchling survive into adulthood when it was unclear if they could live past one night. She is always happy to aid first-time parents with their hatchlings so that they may mature into well-adjusted adults.
