Speckle-Throated Dragons are an active, playful breed. They are easily excited and rarely remain still, spending much of their time in the air. Living in groups of up to sixty dragons, they nest in open plains and at the bases of mountains. Their speckled throats are their most distinctive feature, as well as the loud, echoing call they produce to communicate with one another. Male Speckle-Throats have a small crest on top of their heads, which they can flush with blood to intimidate enemies and attract mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Koenigsegg Agera, or just Koen, is the energetic and feisty brother of Bugatti Veyron. He is outgoing and a jokester, rash and immature. Koen often dives headfirst into situations, yelling like a mad-dragon, with Bugatti chasing after him. He enjoys driving his sister crazy with his antics, and finds it amusing when she tries to tie him down and read him the riot act.

An immature, rash young jokester, Koen has built his reputation for playing the best of pranks on the crankiest of dragons. He is surprisingly smart to be able to batch up a few good tricks that leave unsuspecting dragons muddling over it for days, and equally as cunning to be able to hide all evidence that he did it. As others admire his sister's intelligence, many admire his cleverness in trickery.

Koen may not be on the best terms with his sister, but he loves her nonetheless. He'd do anything for her, even if it meant giving up his life. Though they have their quarrels, Bugatti and Koen always make up in the end.
