Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Black Prowler, unlike most Black Dragons, has not and probably never will discover what his magic powers are. He often is found asleep, though like Winter Evening he is always awake at night. He sees the older Sunset Dragon as a guardian, someone to look up to, though she only sees him as a friend who shares the cave.

Black Prowler, known better as Prowler due to his love of hunting, feels humbled when he is in Winter's prescense. When he looks into the water and sees his reflection, he only sees a hideous creature with ridiculously long horns. He has yet to realize that true beauty is inside, defined by a personality that he has long had: humble, yet brave, strong, and kind to all.
