Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragoness is living a lie. Coming from a line of purebred Black dragons, everyone expects her to excel at and revel in the arts of battle and combat, and while she is pretty good at it, she doesn't enjoy it. Instead of chaos and destruction she longs to create, more specifically she longs to be a traveling minstrel, writing her own lyrics and coming up with stirring melodies beloved by all those who hear them. The other Black dragons in her cave tolerate this, but just barely, thinking that she ought to dedicate her attention to "less frivolous endeavors". While she's become less vocal about her passion because of this, it's given her lots of material to work with if she ever decides to pen any sad songs.
