Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Enshrouded was unceremoniously dumped as an injured, close-to-death hatchling outside the personal cave of one Aerith Shimmerscale, with only a ragged, grey shroud to her (lack of) name. Aerith took her in, and nursed her back to health, although he could do little for her tattered wings besides relieving the pain.

As a result, she sees Aerith as a father figure to her, preferring not to socialise with many other dragons. When she does, she is often blunt, uncaring as to whether her words upset the dragon, all in attempt to hide her true self.

Her wings are often covered by her shroud, so as to guard from taunting remarks and constant stares. While she is unable to fly, she is an adept at land-based combat, and her magic is not too bad either - she has begged Aerith to teach her to heal, but the White dragon is unsure if she is capable, and so wishes not to disappoint her.
