Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Jadellia CloverLeaf (after the gemstone: Jade) became the 132nd member of the clan cave shortly after the rainy forest project neared completion. She is an amazingly lucky dragon, who seems to be heavenly blessed with good fortune and where ever she goes, good luck tends to follow close behind. She enjoys feasting upon the wide variety of fruits available in her tree top home, and happily tends to their growth and succulence. Her favorite greenery, however, is the clover, the four leafed variety, and she carries one with her at all times. No one is quite certain how it came to be, but as rumors spread of her uncanny luck, so too grew a connection between such luck and her namesake until it became an accepted symbol and token believed to inspire, if not directly cause good things to happen to those who carry one. The clan elders believe she is responsible for the acts of good fortune, secretly lending aid to those in need, and further fueling the ever growing superstition.
