Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

CACKLE CACKLE CACKLE is the sound Deraiz is best known for, an alarmingly cruel laugh that happens whenever unsuspecting prey crawls around her vines. She jokingly claims it's because it tickles -- the rest of the De clan suspect otherwise. Deterra, a Green dragon, finds the younger Dark Green to be rather amusing and the two of them get along like very messy, very dysfunctional sisters (much to Demagia, Deterra's husband, eternal horror). Deraiz recently appointed herself to be the clan's very own security system, her vines being the perfect means of keeping a look-out for any would-be intruders. The others They're just happy that this new job of hers keeps her distracted and away from them. Recently the rumors of Denoche and Deraiz having hooked up have been proven true, as a a brood of dark green and gray eggs were set down and abandoned not far from the area recently. Bringing this up with Denoche will still make him deny the rumors until he's bluer than the resident Water dragon!
