And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Every year, eight little Halloween hatchlings go trick-or-treating at various human towns and villages. Mivalgo likes to provide a few harmless tricks in exchange for the candy treats he receives, though he's careful to keep his illusions light-hearted and not overly scary. He has the rest of the year to traumatize others, but Halloween is supposed to be fun for everyone. Mivalgo likes to dress up as a witch and always tries to find a dark myst pygmy he can persuade to be his cat.
