White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Alexandra, a rather angelic being, is very timid and fragile. Though usually any and every injury she received healed up right away, Alex has always had a permanent scar on her back, just above the tail. When young, in the place she was forced to grow in where it was always darkly clouded, raining and trashy, older beings would often beat her, dragons and humans alike. Alex's first friend was a watery blue egg. She fixed cracks it got, for they weren't hatching cracks at the time. But then, the egg was carried off. Alex had only two friends after then, who hated each other, and one only came once a year, and then the annual dragon stopped coming altogether. So, Alex and her scarlet friend, Kurot, ran from the horrible place. While running, Kurot, wingless at the time, had fallen down into a deep crevasse. Alex was alone and cold and starving and nearly dead when Dante (Daa-kun), her future mate, had found her. He took her home with him, along with a small red lump on his back.
