Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Cheddar Harmonia has always been referred to as a female dragon and a great strategic fighter ever since The Chicken War. Little Cheddar hatched around the time the war started, and immediately knew how to win the war. She figured out that the chickens on her side had to pelt the other chickens with moldy paper covered in cheese, so many Paper Dragons were enlisted in this fight. Cheddar happily contributed her body cheese to the fight, and the lost cheese mysteriously grew back after it was taken from Cheddar's body. Cheddar later learned that she was being watched over by the Chicken Goddess and was granted to have the cheese she was made of grew back after it was lost and that she could be called a girl cheese dragon, because someone great would hate to be referred to as "it" all the time instead of "he" or "she". Ever since The Chicken War, Cheddar Harmonia has been known as a great fighter and was made close adviser to the chickens.
