Aether Wyverns have the ability to control winds utilising air mana. During mating season, rival males often attempt to impress females by hanging onto a rock beside the female and letting another Aether Wyvern blast gale-force winds at them. The one to stay on the rock the longest wins, and if the female wins, she will reject both males. These wyverns also use their ability to control winds to blow away intruding dragons or to capture prey, though an Aether Wyvern’s aim is not perfect. As a solution to their imperfect aim, these wyverns will create large winds that often blow away much more than they originally intended to.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ilma can certainly be characterized as spunky, energetic, and maverick. She lives and dies by the freedom of the skies, a line she has basically turned into her catchphrase. Ilma is a talented aerial acrobat and huntress, though everyone in the area better beware because, whenever she launches an air blast, she's taking at least two or three full grown trees down with her actual target. Ilma is well known for her reckless behavior, something she passed down to her daughter, Leroy. It's certainly a contrast to her more reserved, intelligent Alcedine mate, Aves. In fact, he tricked her into becoming his mate by rigging the Aether mating ceremony. He stood upon a boulder with several competing Aethers. He got blown off immediately, but, at the end of the ceremony, held up a tiny pebble he had gripped in his talons, saying he hadn't fallen off HIS rock at all. This crafty intelligence is what drew Ilma to him, and their balance of brain and brawn has kept them together.
