White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

DoubledImage, or Image, as most call her, is a quiet dragon and a dutiful Chronicler of the Cavern Brood, a collection of assorted dragons who were adopoted or snatched by the human caretaker. Her job is to record important events and names of the dragons who make up the Brood in ancient dragon script. She acts as a mother to the hatchlings, a protector to the eggs, and a friend to the mature dragons she lives with. She was the first snatched from the abandoning area, and she feels sorry for the hatchlings left behind.

As the Brood's eldest female, she chose FlyntShard, the oldest male, as her mate. It was she who usually tended to his wounds, and she grew to like him, despite his wild nature. When the are together, they can usually be found near the entrance of the cave, since FlyntShard almost always takes up Guard Duty.
