Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Obsidius lives in caves and and deep caverns in the earth. His movement underground has been known to cause small tremors to the ground above him. He only surfaces occasionally to socialize with the other dragons and to see what's going on on the surface.  Though he could use his earthquake ability to help more dragon eggs hatch earlier he is hesitant due to the possibility of accidentally killing them.
