Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Partisan travels the world, only ever staying at a place when he finds a kingdom ruled by a tyrant, dragons enslaved by evil necromancers, or similar injustices. Partisan loves peace, but he also loves freedom and he knows that sometimes a dragon has to fight for the things that are worth it. If he finds a place where everything good and right is twisted into something bad and perverted, he uses his talents as a bard and rallies dragons around him whom he leads against injustice.

His fights often take years until they bear fruit, and he has to live in hiding from humans like the "castle mistress" and dragons like "Vexen" as long as they are in charge, but he knows all hardships will be forgotten once he sees his brethren free from tyranny once again.
