Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Fierar is as closely bound to the horde as any living member of it, and barely counts himself a Numeratis. He is in love with one of the Nightwatch siblings, Siannah, and his own kin, Cero and Mortales, cover for him as often as possible so that he may escape the Numeratis keep and meet with his darling Siannah.

He's a romantic through and through, for one. Fie honestly believes that true love can be found by anyone, and is a great matchmaker. Despite this, not many come to him for advice, seeing as he's a vampire, and a Numeratis to boot. In any case, Fierar is closer to the horde than most Numeratis, not including Herida. He tries his best to keep up an amicable relationship with as many horde members as he can, but he'll often waffle off into romantic prattling if he loses focus, which he does easily. Fierar is naive and easily taken advantage of, much to Siannah's chagrin.
