White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This wise old dragon is a bit of a hermit due to his living in his own private mountain cave.  He left his nest as soon as he could; not that he wasn't grateful to the kind woman who raised him, but rather he needed his own space.  Often whenever his mistress has an egg or hatchling sick she will call on him for help and he always heeds the call. Gywendal is a sweet dragon who though a recluse will come home to help the woman who showed him kindness all those years ago.
