Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Skye Dreamcatcher was sunning herself on her favorite rock one day when an incredibly rude magi placed a foot on her muzzle and demanded that she lead him to a sinomorph. She almost laughed at him, for the poor soul was clearly delusional, but feared what he might do to her. Skye led him to the resident xenowyrm, hoping to convince the magi that he'd misheard whoever had told him about the valley, but he refused to believe that he could be mistaken. Worse yet, this magi planned to repeat his abominable behavior until he found a sinomorph. There was nothing for it but to invite herself along as a guide. Skye passed beyond the lands she knew long ago, but still tries to steer the perpetually egotistical Cahib away from places where his excruciatingly bad manners might cause offense.
