As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

A shy dragon, Tactia doesn't feel like she quite fits in with some of the larger dragons.  Instead she uses her small size and charming nature to play with the hatchlings of the cave, as they aren't afraid of her, since her body is about the size of a large cat.  At night when the hatchlings are asleep Tacita will hunt, keep watch, and often be asleep by morning.  As she is not large she is largely restricted to mice and other small creatures.  Since a good number of her friends are the hatchlings of the cave she can feel somewhat lonely at times considering she is the only drake in the cave, as Tacita has fascination with Ochedrakes, she wishes she could be with one.
