Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Heart of the Mountain is a kind and loving earth dragon. She assists Mossy Stones in the renovations necessary to keep the cave large enough for the new members of the cave. Heart of the Mountain looks forward to the day she can be a mother and take an active role in the raising of her offspring. Whether Mossy Stones might one day be the father of her young is still a matter of conjecture.
