Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Frosty Popsicle, is an 11th generation dragon, with many breeds in her background—black, alt.black, purple, white, silver, skywing, gold, vine, alt.vine, red, seasonal, and pink.

Like the snow that glistens and shines, on a sunny day, Frosty's scales often show the multi-colours of her heritage. Frosty was to be part of the proud lineage carrying it on further, however there was a mistaken inbreeding, as her grandfather on her mom's side and great grandfather on her dad's side is the same, so she was frozen as an eternal child.
