Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon is second-in-command of The Flock, a group of six young dragons who escaped from the evil wizards who had been experimenting on them. None of them are truly related save the youngest two, who are brother and sister, but they're the only family each other's got. As a result of the myriad of questionable spells, potions and such that they were exposed to, each of the six can heal more rapidly than normal, and each has a unique ability, Fang's being that if he remains perfectly quiet and still, he can camouflage into most any environment. Which really isn't difficult for him, thanks to his silent, brooding manner. A dragon of very, very few words, yet easily The Flock's best fighter, he defers to the leader Max, a feisty Spitfire, in all but her most asinine (at least in his opinion) endeavors. Despite the fact that they were basically raised as siblings, the two of them have recently become a couple, while the others laugh and think "Well, duh! You two like each other!"
