Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lady Myst is peaceable and seems to get along with all her tamer's dragons. Silverside of the Moon will usually bring her food, though she will occasionally hunt on her own. Because of the natural light she gives off, Claire de Soliel loves to sleep near her. However, Myst is typically active at night, so it makes it hard for the ampithere to go to sleep without a source of light. Myst likes to preen and will sometimes groom other dragons as a sign of affection. Her frills are bright and beautiful, and it's clear she is proud of them as she meticulously cleans them. Myst has a soft voice, and she will often coo when she is grooming another dragon.
