White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Wolsey hangs out with Bernice and is one of the few dragons in the cave who will listen faithfully to the stories she tells. He asked one of the paper dragons to teach him to scribe so he's able to write down the tales Bernice tells. She has no idea that one day he plans to market them as fantastical fiction and so continues to use him as a sympathetic ear.
