Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Da is the first son born to Bingwen and Orlia, and the first of their offspring to be a Pebble Dragon. His name means "Big" in Chinese, since he was always a rather large hatchling. When he first hatched, his parents were amazed that he had managed to fit in his egg for so long. He's grown into a humongous dragon, he's one of the largest dragons in the colony. Despite his intimidating size, he's a real sweety. He guards over the section of forest that he's made his home in. He does not allow violence within his territory, and will escort any who break that rule to the edge of his forest. He is mated to Cuifen, a lovely Pebble dragon who's about half his size. She's a lovely dragoness, with a beautiful singing voice. They met through their parents, who are good friends. They thought their children would be happy together, and they were right. After a few dates, Da and Cuifen were officially courting. They are so happy together, and love each other more than anything else.
