Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
ThornRaider, a spring dragon, is an odd one indeed. Unlike a lot of other male spring dragons who dislike the fact that they have pink coloring, he really likes the delicate color he was graced with. He spends most of his time frolicking amongst the flowers, helping the plants around his clan's cave grow and bloom. His favorite plants are the cherry trees that grow close to the pond that Remiko the White is so fond of. When not helping the flora near the cave grow, he can be found in the clan's cave, chatting away with the females. As a favorite amongst the females, one would think he would have already sired more than one young. But, it seems, he has no interest in breeding. He prefers tending plants and gossip to entertaining the idea of breeding. He loves to try to create new and unique flowers. His proudest creation is a large purple flower he has affectionately named Thorn's Delight, although there is not even one thorn anywhere on his new creation.
