Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright, shiny scales and loves to play in the sunlight.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

A Green Bean received their name because of how much they looked like a green bean. Especially when they were curled up.

They were hatched a very small dragon, and so when curling up among the tree branches and nests of the Gemshard dragons, they look like a sparkling green bean.

The Bean themself hates the nickname, and will frequently protest the use of it, despite how fitting it is. They say that it's completely ridiculous how all of the dragons would dare use such a derogatory term towards another dragon.

For such a small hatchling, they certainly have a large vocabulary.
