Blancblack dragons are a two-headed breed known for their hardiness and easygoing nature. They are omnivorous, with the cream head preferring to eat plants and the violet head preferring to eat meat, and can adjust readily to harsh climates. These dragons are sociable—both with other two-headed breeds and with single-headed dragons—and can often be found as adopted members of social dragon colonies. They are often considered symbols of balance and fairness, and likenesses of Blancblacks have been found in ancient ruins associated with law and justice. Females Blancblacks have longer tails than males, which they use as whips when defending a nest from predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

Prince Merren's Father, King Bael Stark, decided he wanted to wage war against King Aegon Targaryen and his whole bunch. Unfortunately, Merren was found alone by the enemy with his nanny. He was separated from his "pack", as he and his siblings liked to call themselves, as nothing more than a little pup, when he was taken by Lord Commander Varemon and his scouting party. From this time on he was a ward of Varemon and integrated in the court of Ruler Aelyx, a Dragon he only heard bad things about.

He came to learn that Targaryens have no love for other breeds. He was a stranger, but he was not alone. The young Aimee was a Targaryen, from the looks of it, but she was different than the others. There was a strange aura around her and she seemed to be stronger and faster as the other Targaryens. Moreover, the others seemed to avoid her, too, and one thing led to another. The two of them are secretly in love and consider fleeing together, if possible.
