White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Modrin works as a healer for an army of frozen black dragons, tending to their many wounds and injuries after their hard battles. The armies are always fighting over territory and food, their numbers ever-increasing. Poor Modrin fears he will soon be overwhelmed by work. Though he is guilty to admit it, the roar that signals the beginning of the battles never fails to excite him and make his blood run high. It is not that he wishes to go into war and bloody his paws, it is that there is something exquisite and powerful in the sound of a fighting cry that he wishes he could experience for himself. Though Modrin has tried many times, in great secrecy, he cannot reproduce the brilliance of the battle-roar himself. To this day Modrin practices to capture the beauty and primal instinct that runs in a roar, but so far he has had no luck. He fears that if he is caught trying to act fierce, the other dragons will kill him because white dragons are supposed to be completely against fighting.
