As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Moonlight Glory is one of her mistress' favorite dragons. She would love going inside a special cave that only she, her best friend Lavender 21 and her mistress knew, and somewhere on the cave is a small pond and above the pond has a hole on the cave's ceiling and magically on the nights of the full moon, the moon's reflection on the pond can be seen! She would love dancing on the top of the pond with Lavender to praise their mistress and her wings would glow faintly in the moonlight, giving birth to her name.
