Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon has been the source of much confusion, heartbreak, and denial among the cow clan. It all started when Holy Cow went out one day to rescue a stray herd of cattle, leaving Holy Bovine (her beloved) and Holy Heifer (her best friend) behind. The two were having a stimulating conversation about the obvious when they noticed a lost summer hatchling with a badly damaged left wing. The two quickly scooped up the poor orphan and, returning with her to headquarters, nursed her back to health. It was at that moment that the dragons's owner returned, and she gasped in horror, assuming the wrong thing--and wrote both dragon's names down as the parents of the new child, adding CHEATER in big red letters on Bovine's scroll. Naturally this dismayed both the dragons. When Heifer returned home, she nearly strangulated her poor mate--but when she calmed and could be reasoned with, the truth came forth and everyone went back to being as close as ever.
