Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Mackeya is an unusual dark green dragon in that she does not violently kill and eat everything she encounters. For example, when Star, the one who raised her, comes along, she will capture her and instead of eating her will ask how she's doing, if there's any personal problems she needs to know about, or if there's anyone who she's worried about. She actively seeks almost to... counsel. Also in her mannerisms are the tendency to say, "mmkay," along with discouraging anyone who may attempt to use any herbs in an inappropriate way that is not for the express purpose of eating for nourishment or to get well. She will say that this use of them, "is bad, mmkay". Of course, when she is hungry, Mackeya is happy to eat whatever she catches, and Mackeya is frequently hungry, so she is more likely to eat than to talk. Still, there is the possibility that she will want to help, so if one is caught in this Dragon Grass, they should not panic until they are already in Mackeya's mouth.
