Mirqu is a passionate but quiet supporter of Space Cadet Lucy's grand scheme to build an eggship to return the chickens to what she calls "The Mothership". Though she is not nearly so mechanically inclined as little Lucy, she does have a knack for gentle persuasion, a talent that she uses to convince the clan's dragons of the truth of the Space Cadet flock's claims. Sometimes telling Space Cadet Henrietta's story so movingly that the dragon is convicted that he or she needs to assist the "great work", sometimes amusing dragons to the point where they'll help solely for the fun of it, and sometimes bargaining with bits of gold, Mirqu rarely misses the mark when she's singled out a dragon to convert. A small selection of dragons think her manipulative and dislike her entirely, but most of the clan simply thinks her a sweet, gentle, and above all, sincere little chicken.
