Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Prancer, more commonly known as Prance, was once a demure and lady-like dragon with the looks and grace to match. Though not nearly as open and flirtatious as her twin sister Vixen, Prance was sought after by many a noble suitor, and she was happy with her lot.
One day, in a fit of well-intentioned mischief, Vixen poured raw, molten gold over Prance's wings, forever marring her looks and grace and stealing her ability to fly. Prance's life was ruined, and she refused to forgive or even speak to her twin ever again. She is a sorrowful and bitter dragon to this day.
Rudolph, though he never said a word and knew he could never be good enough to have her, used to watch wistfully as she would prance around as a hatchling, the unique behavior she took her name from. Though he understands her life's pain, he often wishes he could see her prance again...
