Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Snappy Comeback, as his name implies, considers himself something of a comedian. When he is not busy with Snap Dragon working on improving the whiplike action of their tails, and learning their strengths and limitations, he likes to socialize with the other dragons and denizens of the forest around the cave. His motto, is "Only give a serious answer when you can't find a ridiculous or stupid one." He is not as much fun for the other dragons as he thinks he is.
